55 evaluation question 3
I decided to create a questionnaire on survey monkey and asked my friends and family to complete the short survey for my audience feedback. We have included questions based on the level 4 mark scheme on the music video and ancillary tasks. We have asked a range of people for our target audience so that we can see what a range of people think about our music video even though our target audience is teenage to young adult. By doing this we hope to be able to compare different demographic groups, such as female or male.
The questions i have asked :
We got the results of the questionnaires back:
The questionnaire results show that majority of the people liked our music video, only 22% of people said they did not like it compared to all of the people who participated in the questionnaire. The results show that majority of the target audience were female, which could be to do with most of mine and Ciara's friends that took part in the survey being female. Male's could have voted no on our music video because when we spoke to some of our friends in person they were confused to why 'girls' were being filmed for a rap song as they said usually it should be centred around the male rapper and what he does. We found this interesting as part of the idea of using just girls for our music video was to conflict against stereotypes of them kinds of music videos. 100% results on the majority of the questions showed that people liked the ideas and editing and also our ancillary tasks. When i was making the questionnaire i was basing the questions i was asking off of the mark scheme of Level 4 so that we could try and get a good idea of the quality of our music video. Overall i think this audience research was successful in telling us what people thought of our music video and the demographic between male and female and females having the higher percentage of completing the music videos shows they are more willing to complete them and have the more time.
